Pharming, a rapidly growing international biopharmaceutical company, aims to professionalise its procurement processes worldwide. A few years ago, the organisation implemented the ERP system SAP S/4HANA. During this implementation, the primary focus was on deploying the Purchase to Pay (P2P) process rather than the entire Source to Pay (S2P) chain. In the next phase of Procurement, Pharming has decided to gain better control over the entire process, including Sourcing and Contracting activities, while also emphasising the simplification and optimisation of the current P2P process. Pharming wanted to assess whether its existing systems would be sufficient or whether a new S2P solution should be considered as a suitable alternative. The expertise of Spendlinq has been engaged to supervise and execute this project.
